If you're new to the whole game chair thing, READ ON. I'll tell you what you need to know about these chairs in general, and this one in particular.

I'm a gamer, say whatever you want to, it's what I enjoy. Therefore, these types of things are important to me. I haven't owned very many of these but of the three that I've owned, this one is far-and-away the best. The first one I owned was a cheap little $30 game chair, just to see if I would get any use out of it. I did. Also it allowed me to see what I needed out of a game chair.

*First, it needs to fold up, (which this chair does.) Because it's not a permanent fixture in the room, FOLDING ALLOWS IT TO BE PUT OUT OF THE WAY, where no one will trip over it when it's not in use.

*Second, it needs to be WIRELESS, (again, this chairs got it,) so that people walking won't be tripping over cables, damaging themselves, and the chair, simultaniously.

*Third, it needs to be COMFORTABLE, AND SUPPORTIVE, (this chair has that in spades.) This is a FULL SIZE CHAIR, so I don't feel like I'm scrunched down into a kids chair. Also, for me, it needs to look nice, STYLISH even, because it's in a common area of the house, and other people have to look at it.

Everything else is icing on the cake. The sound is good, the rumble is nice, it's the PERFECT HEIGHT, and the rockers are positioned perfectly, so you can sit and rock without falling flat on your back.
The manual says not to use the arms for support when getting up and down, but I haven't noticed any frailty to them. You bolt them into the frame with the included hardware, and they're VERY STURDY, AND SOLID. (That's the only assembly.)

The only issues I've had are, (on rare occaisions) the sound sometimes cuts out for a split second, usually, (but not always,) when a sudden, loud noise in the game would play.
Also, the speakers face outward, which I think is odd, and they can annoy the people around you, (especially if, like me, you like it LOUD.) However, if it gets too annoying, the chair does have a headphone jack.
These are the only things keeping me from giving the "X Video Rocker" the full five stars. It has everything, and at a GREAT PRICE. Really, I'd give it a 4 1\2.
