The first thing I noticed was that the chair was much smaller than anticipated, more something that I might get my 8-year-old cousin than myself if I'd known. The assembly was quick and simple, but the arms feel loose, even fully tightened, and the whole thing creaks when you move -- perhaps because it's meant for young kids? It's also very low to the ground. One reason I opted for the one with a base, was because I didn't want to be sitting completely on the ground.

It is also very uncomfortable. There's no cushioning whatsoever, so you can feel the hard frame right underneath the cloth. Using a couple spare pillows to even that out, but even those don't help very much.

I originally planned to set the chair in the middle of the room, but the power cord only has about a 3-foot length, so I had to move it closer to a wall. Since it plugs into the side of the chair, you can only rotate it a limited amount. The wireless transmitter has a small DC in slot, but the DC cable was not included, and none of my regular ones fit it. It runs on triple-A batteries without the cable, but has a rather short lifespan that way. By midway into the second day, the batteries were dead. Before the batteries died, the signal worked very well.

I gave up on it as a gaming chair, and have instead put it in front of my computer, where I have an audio wire connecting it. So, I bought it to be a comfortable, wireless gaming chair, but it's being used as a wired head-speaker.

All-in-all, it's not a bad chair. I think it's just meant for a much younger user. I'm 21, and I'd guess that if you're 16 or older, this is probably not going to be a comfortable or altogether useful chair.
