Sturdy enough to hold the weight of an adult (and somewhat taller than the average table and chair set) which makes child/adult "tea parties" much more doable and comfortable. Looking forward to many years of good use.

I bought this item as a gift for my 2 yr old grandaughter.[...] the quality of the product and it was very easy to assemble. The only thing I was disappointed with was the screws that held the bracket to the table for the drawer to slide on were stripped and we had to get new, a little bit larger screws, to replace them. This was a part of the table that was pre-assembled before we got it, but it was an easy fix and my grandaughter loves it.

I bought this set for my growing grandchildren to use as a craft table, as well as a children's table for meals. My oldest is 3 years and he loves it. The recommended ages for this set is 5 - 8, but it is certainly appropriate for my 3 year old grandson. I searched online for a table and chairs set and found that this one is comparable to more expensive sets. I'm looking forward to many fun crafts and holiday meals with this adorable table and chairs set!

I research and compare thoroughly prior to purchasing items. I would recommend this set for children of 2.5yrs to 7yrs old. This set was a Christmas Present for my 2-granddaughters (2 and 4 yrs old). They will enjoy having a table of their own to read, color or play alone or with friends for many years. This set is a solid wood construction and has weight not allowing the chairs to tip over easily. The only draw-back, I found, as a suggestion for the manufacturer to update is the drawer has a plastic part which catches a criNKleS onto papers and coloring books. This appears to be in place to keep the drawer from falling out(great idea ~ just needs an adjustment from the manufacturer). My son removed the plastic part from the drawer and will show the girls not to pull the drawer out all the way. (By the way, my granddaughters love this set).

I bought this for my Grand Daughter and she loves it! We have enjoyed Tea Parties, times coloring,
along with reading sessions and time on her toddler
computer. She enjoys a drawer of her own for storing coloring books and crayons. I was pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the product. I
will continue looking to Kidkraft products for future needs in childrens furniture.
