I ordered this for my granddaughter for her second birthday. It [...] did not take long for her daddy to assemble. It is very sturdy and the wood is nice looking (so much better than plastic!) I like that the set has 4 chairs so she can have her playgroup friends join her for a craft or snack. She loves having her own place to sit that's the right size!

Somewhat surpised when I opened the box, it looked great at first, but it is quite small. Box says 3-8 year olds on the outside, but 1-2 year old is more like it. Will keep for now, we should have been more vigilant about checking the sizes of the chairs, very short and not sure our 4 year old grandson will be able to sit there. Stylish, but small.

Purchased due price, ($45 less than in a store),ease of ordering, arrival date and ratings. Item arrived damaged, chair broken in half, packaging was in good condition, contacted Hayneedle, they said to contact manuafacturer myself to resolve issue, they mentioned high cost of return freight. Said to call back if I wanted to really return it. Unfortunately, my company was arriving in one day and now I don't have the table and chairs for the kids to use. Contacted the manufacturer, they said to use their online system to order the part. What a crock!

    I bought this for my kids ages 1 and 4. I was thrilled that the finish is beautiful (pecan), the size is perfect for my playroom and the edges are rounded for climbing little ones. I can sit in a chair at the table too, although not very comfortably. Although if it were any bigger it would be dangerous for my little one. Great price and delivered to my door in 3 days. Hayneedle does it again!
