The painted finish was several coats and covered the desk and chair evenly. Assembling the desk and chair was easy.

        we searched everywhere to find a desk that was a good fit for my 5 year old. I purchased one locally , but it was junk. I was so happy when I opened the box on this desk and saw the quality.
